Great value, good selection of groceries and an excellent in store "off-license"!
Handy small supermarket close to Diamond (center of town), good range of foodstuffs, good for grabbing a few items. Not too big so not too hard to find things when you don't know the place. Doesn't take forever to get round. Staff friendly and helpful.
A fairly large branch of the Co-Op. All the usual Co-op food can be found, fresh bread, fruit and vegetables, ready meals, household goods etc. Also has a good selection of wines, beers and spirits. It has a large carpark at the front and is open until late 7 days per week. Not the most exciting place in town, but one of the most useful.
I love my co-op, its well stocked and generally has a good selection of food and goods. Fresh french breads in the morning and it has a good section of gluten free foods for Coeliac's. The off license is great and I think you'll find the tipple of choice. Seasonal selections are good and if you need flowers you should be able to find something to please someone special or indeed yourself if you love blooms. The co-operative is supportive of Charities. Parking is good (limited time) and it has a town centre location. Finally the staff are what completes the experience of shopping here, friendly, helpful and have time to chat with a smile or laugh which is very important.
